No, the TABC will regulate the supply, wholesale distribution, and retail sale of hemp-derived products that are lawful in Tennessee. The cultivation of hemp will remain with the Department of Agriculture. A hemp cultivator who merely grows and sells raw hemp does not require a TABC license. Anyone processing hemp (with any amount of THC) within the state in any form, intermediate processing or final processing, must obtain a license from the TABC.
